Genenalogy
The Pawnee Public Library currently owns microfilm copies of all existing Twentieth and Twenty-First Century Pawnee newspapers; and many Sangamon County Genealogical Society publications - including cemetery records and limited census information - for patrons to use in their research within the library.We are also able - through the Lincoln Presidential Library - to inter-library loan microfilm copies of all extant Illinois newspapers. Staff members, as time allows, will search what we have and/or help direct genealogists toward more comprehensive resources as they trace their family roots.Below are sites that might interest you:
